How Do You Clean Foam Earplugs

How do you clean foam earplugs. If the earplugs are composed of foam wipe off any debris with a dry clean cloth. Simply fill a bowl with warm water and add a mild soap such as dish soap and let the plugs sit in the water for a few minutes. Earplugs should be cleaned by removing all earwax and contaminants prior to reinsertion.
If your earphones have foam covers you can also remove and clean those with warm water and soap. With foam earplugs the easiest thing to do is to fill a small bowl full of warm water and some type of cleaning solution. For the right ear hold the tightly rolled ear plug in the right hand cross the left arm across the top or even the back of the head and grasp the top of the right ear and gently but firmly pull it upwards and away from the head.

If youve done it properly you shouldnt see any of the plug sticking out of your ear. To dry them place them on top of a clean. Foam earplugs have a very short lifespan.
After the dirt is removed rinse them thoroughly under cold running water. Place the earplugs in the water and rub them around with your fingers or a soft cloth to remove the dirt. Treat your earplugs gently with a hand washing.
