How To Clean Headphone Cushion

How to clean headphone cushion. To cleanse the leather headphone pads take a piece of clean cloth and use the conditioner a bit and apply directly over the headphone pads. Do this on both the ear cups in areas like fabric folds and the main headphone unit. Folded out one ear you can do that with the MDR-7560 so you can see the pretty elegant donut sock solution.
Measure the diameter of the earpiece. You can just use the hem of your shirt but it would be better to keep a soft microfiber cloth in your headphone case so that you have a gentle fabric to wipe it off with. Dampen a paper towel or clean cloth with rubbing alcohol.
Wipe after every use. Wipe gently avoiding applying too much pressure in a circular motion. You simply wipe this on the same way you wipe while cleaning.

Dab some alcohol over the cushion surface and gently rub it down. Then dip a paper towel or clean cloth into that foamy water and wring out any of the extra suds. A rag and some rubbing alcohol to clean any leftover residue off of the speaker housing.
Replace parts regularly - When you start to notice problems like buzzing losing sound in one side or worn out cushions replace the problematic part. You just remove the existing foam or leatherette style cushion from the headphone. Remove the cushion by pulling it off being careful that you dont break anything underneath some cushions might twist off for instance.
