Does a router table fence need to be square. The bulk of the work I do with a router table will use the fence as a single fence instead of a split fence. Using a router table for edge trimming and pattern work speeds the process by eliminating the need to hold both the workpiece and the pattern down while you make the cut. It has never slipped nor have I ever detected any deflection in the fence during use.
Furthermore using a router table to do this is not the best idea because it would require you to pinch the workpiece between the bit and the fence. I bought an incra for the table just assuming Id need it. Contents show 1 Flat Top.
